Police Modern School Meerut
The desire to give the benefit of education as per Modern parameters the words of Police and PAC personnel, brought Police Modern Schools into existance. Police Modern School Meerut aims to provide an atmosphere conducive for the harmonious all round development of the students, which gets sustenance from our cultural heritage. The school is an effort to create a class less society where words are drawn from all the levels of the force.
Year 1995 saw the advent of Police Modern school 6th BN RRF, Meerut to impart holistic education of the word of PAC and UP police personnel. Under the guidance of the managment the principal with her dedicated faculty ensured the school affiliation to C.B.S.E. upto secondary level in the year 2003.The school was upgrated to senior secondary level in the year 2006.
The school was started in a barrack comprising of 7 rooms. To accommodate the growing number, 3 more rooms were added to the barrack.
The new building came up in the year 2004 at the back of the existing barrack to house the secondary and senior secondary sections of the school.
The school has a rising sun along a banyan tree and boy with a torch with the words "TAMSO MA JYOTIR GAMAYA" which means take me from darkness to light.

Frequent mid session transfers and location of the 6BN at the outskirts of the city created a need for the establishment of the Police Modern Schools. Our mission is to help the wards of the of police and R.R.F. personnel to grew into responsible and dedicated citizens of the world who before asking what the nation has done for them, answer what they have done for the nation.
